China Glaze Whimsical?

Whimsical (which might not be Whimsical after all, more on that below) is a fabulous dark tealish forest green with gold and blue (and multi-colored) shimmer that mostly shows in sunlight. It applied very nicely and is completely opaque in 2 coats :D I'm really enjoying this mani for today, but will most surely be adding some Konad tonight to take it through day 2! From the "fake" swatches on the web and a bottle pic on eBay, it appears as if Whimsical should instead be some kind of dusty pink polish... The big question is: is my bottle mislabeled? or maybe it is a franken? or maybe there are 2 different versions of the same color? LOL! If anyone happens to have a bottle labeled Whimsical, please let me know if it matches mine! Enjoy =D

Whimsical is SO pretty ^_^ IKWYM about it not looking the same as online swatches...I just checked a site for it, and it's listed, but the website swatch is pink :S

Weird...But whimsical looks really great on you!

*adds another np blog to favorites* I love reading about it & looking at swatches on np...

Thank you! Lolachick ordered it from eBay so we'll soon know what color hers is! If it turns out this isn't it, i think i'll do a contest to rename it ;-)

@ sweetpea
My 1st is French, i took English in school like all kids in QC, but i really learned when i started traveling for swimming :) I ended up getting my undergrad in English at McGill, then moved to a French uni for my Masters and Ph.D :) And thank you!

@ Marie
Thanks!! I'm hoping i'll be able to juggle this blog with my school work (which is sorely lacking attention for now!). I hope you enjoy it :D

Glad to see you starting your own blog, I'll be sure to drop in regularly to see what you've been up to :)

I have a soft spot in my heart for all things teal and Whimsical looks just gorgeous! If it's a franken someone sure did a fantastic job.

Hello, Michelle!
it's always nice having new nail blogs to check...
How do you make your polish last? I love to swim, but the chlorinated water has a terrible effect on my nails!

PS: this whimsical is great!

Always great with new polish bloggers, adding it to my list :) And interested to see an answer to eleonoras question, my polish gets ruined in the pool :(
