OPI Mod About You :D :D

Good evening!!

I wore this mani for an entire week last week and just changed color on Sunday with no chipping and barely visible tip wear :D MAY has always been a favorite of mine and that hasn't changed!! 3 thin coats stamped with ChG Designed Satin and Cheeky plate CH12... Can I say how much I love delicate stamps like that?? :D

Enjoy and have a great evening!! :D

Latest 4 NOTDs.. 1 failure and 3 huge hits! :D

Good evening!

Well, we could say I've tumbled back down the rabbit hole that is the polish world... I'm waiting on a few (many) pretties in the mail including ChG pastels and neons I missed out on in the last 2-3 years! I'm also getting some new Gals stamping plates and pondering another order to get the CC Starry Temptress collex (hey, they're neons!!) ;-) I'm especially happy that my nails are starting to look a little nicer as I don't pick at them as much when they're painted!

Now moving on to some NOTDs from this past week...

First up, OPI You're Such A Budapest topped with Colorama Sonic Sunset. I totally loved the overall effect!! It made the purple just a little bit more muted with flakies :D

OPI You're Such A Budapest + Colorama Sonic Sunset

Next, A.co Lollipop Queen topped with A.co Disco Queen crackle. I picked up these polishes at Ardène last week and unfortunately I'm not liking the tone of the pink OR the crackle finish so goodbye! ;-)

A.co Lollipop Queen + Disco Queen

CC Blue-Ming ♥♥♥!! Picked this up at a local nail salon and it's just amazing! Neon-pastel all in one! Application was a little tricky but 3 thin coats did the job.

CC Blue-Ming + Konad plate M64 in Art Club Azul :D No sunny pic as it's been snowing and/or raining for the past 2 days...

(Maybe) making a comeback ;-)

(No one must be reading anymore hah!)

Good evening!

After almost 3 years away from my blog and the polish world, I started painting my nails again about 2 weeks ago! Being super busy with school (loving neurology right now!), I don't have time anymore to switch manis every days or two, but I decided I felt like posting pretty pics again... It might only be a post every week or two, we'll see how it goes :)

So for this comeback, here are my last 3 NOTDs... Please excuse the sad state of my nails, free edges annoy me especially without polish!

Nails Inc Satin with Konad plate M73 in ChG Re-fresh Mint - one of my favourite greens :D

Nails Inc Satin (M73)

Pretty Serious Galaxy Invader - this is one of the most amazing blue-purple duochrome I've ever worn!! It's made by a friend of mine back in Australia and so totally worth it! 3 thin coats was perfect :D

OPI You're Such a Budapest - great pastel bluish purple almost-creme :)

Looking at my flickr stream just makes me smile so I figure I should start adding more pics now ;) Good night!

OPI Dear Santa :D

Good afternoon!!

I don't tend to wear reds often, but after trying on OPI Dear Santa last week I just might have to change that! DS is the most wonderful red infused w/ red and gold microglitter :D It's quite warm tho, but it fits perfectly with my warm skin tone :D It is definitely my all-time favorite red now.

And here's one more Christmas-y konadicure using the holly from plate M12 in Princess Deep Jungle Pearl polish. I wore that one for 4 days!

Enjoy and have a great day!! :D

OPI Sapphire In the Snow :D

Good afternoon!

Having just recently received a few holiday OPIs in the mail, I decided to take a short break from the brights and neons and wear Sapphire In the Snow. This is such an amazing dark purple creme!! It's perfectly opaque and smooth in only 2 coats, and doesn't look black in most lights (at least on my skin) :D On me it's more of a purple than a blurple, so definitely a bit more purple than the pics show.

And here's a (imo) pretty cute Konad design I added from plate M73 in special white polish... I adore how it looks!

Enjoy and have a great week! :D

Halloween mani!! :D

Good evening!!

Yes I know I'm late and that Halloween was over a week ago, but still here's the mani I wore for a few days around that time. I used 2 coats of OPI Ghostess with the Mostess (glow in the dark) over a coat of Misa Heaven White, and added some black Konad from plate M70 :D I loved that mani, and people around me did as well LOL!!

Enjoy and have a great week! :D

OPI Mod About You :D

Good evening!

OPI Mod About You is another color I wore last week while in Florida. It is one of my favorite colors, and one of a very select few I own a backup of. I feel it's just the perfect pink whiteout, and it totally pops against my tanned skin! This is an older pic as I couldn't get anything decent this time around.

Enjoy and have a great evening! :D

SH Project Runway & ChG Shooting Stars :D

Good evening!

I'm currently away on a training camp in Florida, but I thought I'd take the time to catch up on some more recent NOTDs :D Sally Hansen Project Runway is one of the most beautiful greens I own, and it is definitely my favorite SH green! It seems to be, at least for the moment, a Canadian exclusive collection tho. I wore that one for 3 days straight ;-)

Here's my current pedi, 1 coat of ChG Shooting Stars over 2 coats of OPI DS Glamour (please excuse the blister on my toe...). This is just so awesome and sparkly!

Enjoy and have a great week! :D

OPI Banana Bandanna :D

Good evening!

I waited a long time before deciding I needed to try OPI Banana Bandanna because it seemed everyone was saying how hard to apply and streaky it was... Well it turns out it wasn't that bad at all, and it is a very pretty pastel yellow! I used 4 very thin coats and it was completely even and opaque :D

Enjoy and have a great evening!! :D

OPI Jasper Jade :D ★★★★★

Last post from me today, I swear! ;-)

OPI Jasper Jade was sent to me by a very sweet lady from MUA, and it did not disappoint me! It's just a perfect blackened forest green shimmer that applies very well in 3 very thin coats. It's also pretty similar to China Glaze Gussied Up Green, so if you cannot find JJ, then GUG would be a valid alternative!

Enjoy and have a great night!! :D

Rainforest, you say? :D

The fabulous OPI Rainforest, subtly enhanced with some little white konad flowers (plate M20 with special konad white polish)... It's awesome :D And it's been wearing amazingly, as this is day 3 and all I have are small chips on both my middle fingers, and a little bit of tip wear.

Enjoy and have a nice day! :D

OPI Rainforest ★★★★★

I'm in love!!! Wow, what a fabulous shimmery forest green!! It looks amazing under the sun, but even indoors you can still see the shimmer. I used 3 thin coats to achieve a perfectly opaque and smooth finish :D My only gripe is the old somewhat runny formula which leaks onto my cuticles... I've also filed my nails down slightly again, and I will be staying with this length as I really like it!

Enjoy and have a nice day! :D

OPI Keep Off the Grass

Pretty color, but I don't think it's interesting enough for me, or a color I'd ever reach for again :/ It needs 3 coats to be opaque and even, but the brush strokes aren't really that bad. What do you think?

Have a great day! :D

OPI Real Teal ★★★★☆

Good afternoon everyone! Here's today's NOTD, a polish I never thought I'd ever get my hands on (or on my hands?), OPI Real Teal. It's a very pretty blackened bluish green shimmer, but unfortunately feels kinda boring on me :/ Maybe it's because I just remove my super glittery mani or something else, but it just feels like it's missing something! Not bright enough, or sparkly enough (except in sunlight)... I think some Konad will probably fix the problem right up though ;-) Also, like many older polishes I've tried, it is super thin and needs at least 3 coats to be even (for me).

Here it is now w/ some silver Konad added to it. Somewhat better, but still not wowing me =( I don't think this mani will last much longer than tomorrow night! Crappy flash pic for now, hoping i can catch some sun tomorrow.

Enjoy! :D
